Jesus had to go and send this Promise. He said,\u00a0 <em><strong>&#8220;if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> John 16.7<\/p>\n<p>After His resurrection, Jesus went to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit! The disciples received the <strong>glorious anointing !!<\/strong> Acts.2.1-4<\/p>\n<p>In the Bible, the glory of the Lord came down when choice sacrifices were made.<\/p>\n<p>When Elijah offered the sacrifice, <strong>fire came down.<\/strong> 1 Kings.18.31\u201339.<\/p>\n<p>Moses and Aaron offered the sacrifice; <strong>Fire came down<\/strong> and consumed the offering. The <strong>glory of the Lord appeared<\/strong> and the people fell on their faces. Lev.9.23,24.<\/p>\n<p>When Solomon offered the sacrifice, the Shekinah glory of the Lord filled the Temple and the priests could not minister.2 Chr.7.1<\/p>\n<p>Jesus the Lamb of God offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice. When He presented His <strong>Blood as the most precious sacrifice; the Holy Spirit came down.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The People in the upper room were filled with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost! <strong>Even today the Holy Spirit anoints<\/strong> His people powerfully!!!<\/p>\n<p>Jesus said \u201cYou shall receive <strong>power when the Holy Spirit comes<\/strong> upon you\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Holy Spirit gives us <strong>power to witness<\/strong>; power to <strong>love and to serve;<\/strong> power in our <strong>prayer life;<\/strong> power in our life of <strong>worship<\/strong> and power in our <strong>ministry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you received this power from high?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Holy Spirit April 4, 2008 The most important of the promises was the Promise of the Holy Spirit; expressly called the \u201cPromise of the Father\u201d.
