He Sat Down<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Mark 16:19<\/em><\/p>\n

April 25, 2008<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHe was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesus sat down. It means that He has completed His work; all that He had to do for our salvation and the blessing that follows from it. Now He is seated on the right hand of God and He reigns.\u00a0He has all power in heaven and on the earth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From there He is interceding for us all the time; in our difficulties and weaknesses. We can boldly approach Him. He is not against us, but He is for us.\u00a0He is able to help us<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He is Jehovah-Jireh who beckons us to ask anything in His name. John 16:23. Anything? Yes! Anything in His name. He knows exactly what we need and what is best for us. If we ask Him according to His will, He is pleased to grant it because He has told us to ask Him.<\/p>\n

The greatest pledge anyone can make, Jesus has made to us<\/strong>; to ask Him anything and He will grant it to glorify the Father.<\/p>\n

He has promised us that He will be with us in trouble. Ps. 91:15. He did not say He will help us in trouble but promised to be with us in trouble. Whatever trouble you are going through He is there with you in trouble<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Isaiah 43:2, we see the same thing that whatever be the situation He is there with us, in floods, in fire and in all situations. What a pledge! What a promise! The omnipotent and omniscient God, the owner and the creator of the universe promises to be with us.<\/p>\n

Whatever be the situation you are in today right now, just remember that He has pledged to be with you!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
