A New Man in Christ
Colossians 3:10

We were dead in sin, but God made us alive together with Christ; making us a NEW MAN in Christ by His power of resurrection. (Eph. 2.5; Col. 3.10: 2 Cor. 5. 17) .
The New Man in Christ :
A New Life and a New Hope: We were dead in sin. But now we are dead to sin. Christ has become the fountain of our life. (Gal.2.20). He lives in us. He has begotten us unto a living hope by His resurrection. ( 1 Pet.1. 3)
A New identity: We have a new identity as His children. By His death and resurrection, He declared us righteous before God in Christ! (2 Cor: 5.21). He has accepted us into his family (John.1. 12).
A New heart and new spirit: God has renewed our deceitful and wicked hearts. He has given us a new heart and has put a new spirit within us. Ezek.36. 26
New power: Human strength and power can not carry us far. Christ gives us power and strength in the inner man. Paul said “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil.4.13) and “I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me” (2 Cor.12.9)
New inheritance: We have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, “Abba! Father” We are forever adopted into God’s family. The Spirit testifies that we are the children of God. ( Rom.8 15, 16) You are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. (Gal.4. 7).
Therefore let us walk in the newness of life.
