Renewing of the Inner Man
2 Corinthians 4.16

“Our inner man is being renewed day by day ”
The inner man is the spiritual person. The outer man decays day by day. But the inner man is renewed by the resurrection power of Jesus Christ in us.
The outer man is temporal. The inner man is eternal.
God works in us to renew, revive and to prosper the inner man. Spiritual prosperity is more important than material prosperity. The formula is that we prosper as our soul prospers.
The inner man is the new creation in Christ Jesus. 2. Cor.5. 17, Gal 6.15, Eph 2.10. The indwelling presence of Jesus brings us into His likeness. The Holy Spirit transforms us into His image from glory to glory.
If we wait on the Lord and His Word our strength will be renewed like that of an eagle! If tired and spiritually burnt out we must wait on the Lord! He will renew us and revitalize us!
God gives us strength in our inner man to face any situation. David killed Goliath not because of his physical stature. It was his spiritual strength. We need to be spiritually strong in the inner man.
If Jesus is in us we are winners!!!
