The Empty Tomb

He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matt.28. 6
Jesus rose on the third day! The empty tomb is a proof of His resurrection. God raised Him up, having loosed the pains of death because it was not possible that He should be held by it. He is alive and He is the source of life.
Jesus compared His being in the tomb to Jonah in the belly of the fish for three days. If God could protect and bring Jonah out from the belly of the monster, He will also bring us out of any ‘grave situation’.
Jesus rose from the grave as the Ray of Dawn and the Light of Salvation.
He shines in our lives! He will lift us up from the powers of (gates) of death. (Ps. 9. 13)
He will quicken us and our mortal bodies. He will lift us up from the pit.
He will resurrect our hopes and our dreams!
Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning!!!! (Ps.30.5)
